Catholic marriage videos and DVDs for Pre-Cana programs (marriage preparation in the Catholic Church) that explain the true purpose of a Church wedding and Catholic marriage are usually out-of-date, low-budget, and often boring. But today we need effective, engaging Catholic marriage videos more than ever. That is why we produced this Pre Cana Catholic marriage video especially for couples preparing for a Church wedding today. Our video, “When Two Become One” is contemporary, entertaining, engaging, and shot in popular documentary style. This new Catholic marriage video is ideal for engaged Pre Cana couples in Pre Cana or any marriage preparation program, or anyone who wants to know more about marriage in the Catholic Church, the meaning and importance of a Church wedding, and what the Church teaches on sacramental marriage, love, sexuality, pre-marital sex, natural family planning, and much more.
“When Two Become One” is a must see for all couples planning to enter the sacrament of marriage in the Catholic Church. Join nationally-known host Msgr. Lisante and four real life Catholic couples – engaged, newlyweds, married with children, and celebrating their 51st anniversary – as they unpack the true meaning of Catholic marriage and witness to the joys and challenges of living it out each day “till death do us part.”

We will be using this video as the central part the "Sacrament" session in our Pre-Cana course. It should generate good discussion. Because it touches on pre-marital sex and contraception, which is pretty much a given with our couples, we'll save this session for the end of the course. Starting off the course with this might make participants feel guilty and uncomfortable. So it wouldn't be a good way to start the day, but it needs to be said at some point.
I came across this DVD by accident and since then it has become part of our Marriage Prep Program. Couples have to watch it and discuss it. Great summary of the teaching of the Church on Marriage and a very practical easy to relate to you topics and discussion. I will recommend it to any couple preparing for marriage!
