Product Description

In this new Catholic video, Fr. Nick Zientarski unpacks the true meaning of the Catholic sacrament of baptism. More than a one-time celebration, baptizing your child in the Catholic Church is a commitment to a new life of faith, prayer, and service for your whole family. Fr. Nick explains what every Catholic parent needs to know, from the role of godparents and the profession of faith to the “exorcism” and the importance of ongoing faith formation. Three families join him in this video - the Pierres, Quintinillas, and Simons - to share their real-life joys and challenges of living out the grace of Catholic baptism at home in their “domestic church” and in their local parishes.

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit… I am with you always, until the end of the age." Matthew 28:19

This Catholic video answers questions such as:

  • What is baptism?
  • How should we prepare to baptize our child?
  • How do we choose godparents?
  • What does our own faith have to do with it?
  • What are we committing to in baptism?
  • Why is faith formation a life-long process?

Running time: 27:00.

WE gave this film the first trial run last night and it was well received.

  2. A wonderful video that represents the diversity in families today . 5 Star Review

My team and I have used this video in our infant baptism preparation for years. It thoroughly teaches about baptism through the eyes of a priest and three families. We learn about the ceremony and what baptism means to us as Catholics. But most importantly we learn what it means to three families who are diverse and real. The families share from the heart and that is important to engage the parents we have in our classes.
I would highly recommend this video to any parish.

  3. It's About Time 5 Star Review

Excellent Video. Perfect for a Baptism Prep class. Current material with believable people sharing their faith journey. One couple stating how making time for church community is just as important as making time for soccer community.

  4. Great for Parent Meeting! 5 Star Review

I ordered this DVD to show to the parents at our First Grade Meeting. Our RE program here begins in first grade. My uncle, who is a deacon, recommended your video. Even though it is mostly directly at parents who are preparing for their child's baptism, the message serves as a good reminder to all parents what they promised when they had their child baptized.
